A pedestrian was killed Monday afternoon in a Ballard Parking Lot.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The pedestrian fatality took place around 12:17 in a McDonald's parking lot in the Ballard neighborhood.  The victim was pinned under the car near Northwest Market Street and 14th Avenue NW.  Seattle Police were able to lift the car and pull the man out from under the car but he had already passed away.

The car had been backing up in the parking lot when the driver, a 37 year old woman, hit the 67 year old victim . 

Police aren't sure if the man had already collapsed on the road when he was hit by the car. 

There were no arrests made in this case.
