The injured woman, a Kent resident, was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

Washington State Patrol received reports of a pedestrian accident near the 22400 block of Highway 515 in Kent. The victim was found in the middle of the northbound lanes.

Investigators believe the woman was hit in the northbound lanes when she was crossing east to west across the 5-lane highway. She may have been hit more than once.

The woman may not have been in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident.

Police are hoping someone with information will speak with them and are considering this incident a hit-and-run.
