A crosswalk accident critically injured a man in White Center around 5:20 Tuesday evening.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

The White Center man was walking in a crosswalk at 16th Avenue SW and SW 106th Street when he was hit by a Chevrolet or GMC. The driver that hit the pedestrian slowed down but did not stop.

He was last seen driving on 16th Avenue with a damaged left front fender and a missing driver's side mirror that was left at the scene of the accident.
