Professional boxer Paul Williams suffered serious injuries after he crashed his modified sport motorcycle into an embankment in Marietta, GA on Sunday. According to reports, the 30-year-old was driving too fast for conditions in the town just northwest of Atlanta, failed to negotiate a turn and crashed.
Williams reportedly suffered from a severed spinal cord after falling on his head and back when he was ejected from the motorcycle. His manager, George Peterson, says that he was paralyzed in the crash and currently has no movement from the waist down. The fighter was in Atlanta to attend his brother’s wedding.
The Davis Law Group sends heartfelt wishes for Williams’ recovery. If nothing else, we hope this accident serves as a reminder to Washington state motorcyclists about how important it is to act safely and responsibly on the roadways.
