Guadalupe Monzon's had stopped his 1993 Ford Thunderbird for traffic congestion in a southbound lane on Highway 395 when a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by David R. Fishman hit him from behind. Apparently the Explorer was following too close. The collision sent Monzon's vehicle into into the back of a 2002 Ford F150 truck, driven by Kevin L. Miller.
