Paralyzed Professional Dirt Biker Continues to Fight

Professional dirt bike rider Doug Henry broke his back during practice in March 2007 and became paralyzed from the waist down. Henry lost control of his bike while taking a corner.

“All I thought about was my family and all of the things we wouldn’t be able to do,” Henry said. Henry has not let this slow him down though.

He continues to fight. Henry confronted his life obstacles of paralysis and injury, and did not let it stop him from pursuing his love for extreme sports.

Henry began riding snowmobiles, and was a participant in the X Games last year.
