Overturned semi truck blocks State Route 14

While driving on State Route 14 around 8:30 a.m., four miles east of Washougal, Rock Eggleston rolled his semi truck, completely blocking the highway.

The 53-year-old driver was heading westbound on the SR 14 when he crossed the centerline and slid on the shoulder causing the truck to tip over. The tractor-trailer was carrying multi-colored recycled paper that spilled onto the roadway.

It took workers two hours to clear the wreck from SR 14. Eggleston was not injured in the crash and was cited for negligent driving according to Washington State Patrol.
