One man has been arrested in the assault of a cyclist that happened on July 2 in Tacoma. Kyle Baker is in jail while Corey Romero, the other alleged assaulter in the bicycle accident case, is found.
The victim of the bike attack, 71-year-old Ron Wingerson faces six weeks of recovery after the two men knocked him off his bike and left him. His injuries included six cracked ribs and a fractured pelvis.
The other attacker, Romero, has prior convictions for unlawful imprisonments and domestic violence convictions.
A $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest is offered through Crime Stoppers.
