One person was injured in a motorcycle accident in Seattle on Wednesday morning.
While riding his motorcycle northbound on Interstate 5 around 9 a.m., a 40-year-old man tried to switch lanes and lost control, striking a concrete barrier near the Michigan Street off ramp. The man fell 20 feet and was unconscious when medics arrived. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
The off ramp and one lane was blocked while the scene of the accident was investigated.

Nine out of 10 motorcycle deaths in 1998 were males. Seventy-seven percent of the females who died in a motorcycle crash were passengers and 98% of males who died were drivers.
