One person was injured in a three-car collision west of Rochester on Friday night.

While driving west on Highway 12 just before midnight, 27-year-old Casey Hasenbalg attempted to turn left onto Moon Road when he was struck by 24-year-old Elaine Myer. The collision caused Hasenbalg's car into 52-year-old Jennie Ortiz.

Hasenbalg was injured and taken to Providence Centralia Hospital. No one else was listed as injured.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by Washington State Patrol and it's unclear whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
