One person was injured in a collision near Ocean Park on Monday night.

Around 9:17 p.m. 51-year-old Brian L. Nichols was driving his 2000 Suzuki Esteem northbound on State Route103 when his vehicle crossed the centerline into the southbound lane and continued to veer off the roadway until he struck a power pole.

Washington State Patrol responded to the crash. Nichols was taken to Ocean Beach Hospital for treatment of his injuries. There may have been another passenger in his car that was also injured. The cause of the crash was not included in the report.
