One person was injured in a car accident near Clearview on Saturday. Just after 9 p.m. 19-year-old Douglas Fraser was driving on 176th Street SE when he was struck by a 33-year-old woman who was turning off of Highway 9.
Fraser was injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center. He was listed in satisfactory condition on Sunday.
The woman was and her two passengers were uninjured. She was arrested and booked for vehicular assault, driving with a suspended license and for operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. No other information was provided.

(b) While under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any drug, as defined by RCW 46.61.502, and causes substantial bodily harm to another; or
(c) With disregard for the safety of others and causes substantial bodily harm to another.
