A Jeep crashed on Highway 2 near Fairchild Air Force Base, hitting a telephone pole before rolling over on its top trapping two of the passengers inside. Spokane Fire Crews and Washington State Patrol responded to the crash around 10:30pm and were able to get both people out of the vehicle. A female passenger was transported to a local area hospital with unknown injuries.

Investigators reported that the roads were icy but are not sure if that was the cause of the crash. Highway 2 was blocked for less than an hour while they conducted their investigation of the collision scene. There is no additional information available about the cause of the crash or if there were any additional factors involved, like drugs or alcohol.
