Olympia Woman's SUV Hit In Car Accident In Yelm

YELM - An Olympia woman was injured in a car accident after she made a U-turn to try to help a disabled vehicle.  She was struck by a 1998 Acura driven by a 24-year-old Bellingham man who has been arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault. Apparently alcohol or drugs may have caused the accident.  The collision occurred near the intersection of Rainier and Military roads, near Yelm.  The Olympia woman was driving taken to a nearby hospital.
