Two people were injured in a motorcycle/car collision Sunday evening just off of Highway 20 in Oak Harbor.

James Carson and Rhonda Reed were both airlifted to Harborview Medical Center from North Whidbey Middle School's field.

The car versus motorcycle accident occurred around 5:15 Sunday night when a 1994 Toyota Pickup Truck driven by
Jeremy Palmer of Oak Harbor tried to turn left into the Taco Bell from the center southbound turn lane of Highway 20. Palmer didn't see the motorcycle that was heading northbound in the inner lane.
