Nissan Recalling Pathfinders & Infinitis for Corrosion Problems

Nissan in North America is calling SUV’s in the United States for corrosion problems that could damage steering and suspension problems. The 196,000 vehicles being recalled are the Nissan Pathfinders from 1997 to 2003, and the Infiniti QX3 from 1996 to 2004.

Corrosion of the strut tower could cause the steering to column to break, resulting in the loss of steering control, resulting in potential for very serious accidents.

If you are the owner of one of these Nissan vehicles that are being recalled, Nissan will inspect the SUVs and repair the vehicle free of charge.
