A drunk driving car accident took place in Seattle Saturday night leaving several people with injuries.
The accident took place when a Toyota Celica and a Chevy Impala were driving opposite directions on 23rd Ave. S
Both cars came to S King St. at the same time when the Toyota started turning left to go to eastbound S King St. and hit the Impala.
The Impala then slid out of control, driving onto the curb of 23rd Ave S., hitting a tree, and then finally stopping on another curb of 23rd Ave. S.
Six people were taken to Harborview Medical Center, the one driver of the Toyota and five people from the Impala.
The driver of the Toyota is thought to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
