MTV Jackass Star Dies in an Alcohol-Related Crash

death from alcohol related crash
MTV star Ryan Dunn died in a car accident on Monday. The 34 year old starred in the hit “Jackass” series on MTV, as well as in the multimillion-dollar movies.

Dunn was driving his 2007 Porsche in Philadelphia when it swerved off the road, flipped over a guardrail and crashed into the woods before bursting into flames. The passenger in the car was also killed.

The force of the car crash shattered the vehicle leaving the Porsche unrecognizable. There was a 100 foot long tire skid mark on the roadway where the car drove off. Police officers identified Dunn through his tattoos and hair, due to his severe burns. The passenger was also severely burned and unrecognizable at the scene.

Just hours before the crash, the Jackass star tweeted a picture of himself drinking with two friends. The photo has been taken down since the accident. West Goshen Township police said that speed may have also been a factor in the car accident but nothing has been confirmed. Dunn just began hosting a new show on the G4 cable network. The show has been temporarily taken off the network.
