Motorcyclist seriously injured

CARLTON — A Wenatchee man was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after a Carlton motorcycle accident for treatment of head and chest injuries.  Craig Takacs was listed in serious condition.  In addition he sustained a knee injury.  Melissa E. Renkert, of Wenatchee, was also injured and taken to Okanogan-Douglas Hospital in Brewster.  Mr. Takacs was driving a 1996 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Highway 153 when he lost control and went into a ditch.
