Motorcyclist Killed Saturday After Head-on Collision on Highway 97

A man was killed on Saturday night after being hit head-on by a car while riding his motorcycle on Blewett Pass.

WSP reports that the Auburn resident was on his 2005 Suzuki GD500F when a 2011 Toyota Camry crossed the center line of Highway 97 and hit him. It was reported that the 28-year-old man was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the Camry, 61-year-old Redmond resident, was not injured in the fatal accident.

The crash is under investigation. There have been no citations issued at this time.
