A serious motorcycle crash injury took place Tuesday afternoon in North Seattle.

Seattle firefighters responded to the accident and transported the motorcyclist to Harborview Medical center.

The accident took place around 2:15 when the motorcyclist was driving east on Northgate Way and came up to 11th Avenue Northeast where a truck facing northwards had stopped at a stop sign.

The truck moved forward into the intersection to turn left and head westbound on Northgate Way when the motorcycle hit the left side fo the truck.

The accident is still under investigation but police said the truck driver didn't show any signs of being impaired.
