A motorcyclist received serious motorcycle accident injuries in Bremerton on Monday after he was involved in a car collision.

He was taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, but was later flown to Harborview Medical Center for his injuries. 

According to medics, the accident took place around 12:15 p.m. when a collision occurred between the motorcyclist and a car at the intersection of 13th Street and Cambrian Avenue.

Observers said the motorcyclist flew about 20 feet from the accident. 

The driver of the car was uninjured.

The accident is still under investigation.
