A motorcycle accident caused three miles of backup northbound I-5 in Federal Way this morning. Just before 5:45, the accident happened near the intersection at SR 18.
It is unknown what exactly happened in the accident, and extent of the motorcycle rider’s injuries. The debris from the accident was cleared around 6:45 am.
There has been an increase in motorcycle accidents recently.
