Alex Medina, a 6-year-old Moses Lake boy, was mauled in his back yard by a pit bull on Friday. He was bitten on the face and head before the dog was pulled off of him. The boy's nose and ears have been reattached and he is recovering at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Doctors say that the boy will need future surgery.
