SEATTLE - A moped driver has died after crashing into a car near Seattle's McCurdy Park. The moped was driven by a 39-year-old man who was heading southeast on East Montlake Place. A Honda Accord that was heading north on 24th Avenue East was also involved. Apparently as the moped approached the curve, it cross the center line and hit the Honda. The modped driver was thrown into the hood of the Honda and hit the windshield. He later died at Harborview Medical Center. The crash is under investigation.
