A bus versus car injury accident took place Saturday morning in South downtown Seattle.

A passenger in the car involved in the accident was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a head injury.

The accident took place when a bus going west on the Columbia Street ramp in the southbound lanes of the Alaskan Way Viaduct was hit from behind by a black Mercedes-Benz around 1:15 Saturday morning.

Officers said that driver of the Mercedes didn't show any signs of being impaired.

We hope the passenger in the Mercedes makes a quick recovery from their head injury.
