Memorial for passenger killed in San Juan Island drunk driving accident | Seattle Injury Lawyer

A memorial is being held for John W. Parish, who died May 31st in a single-car crash near Cattle Point Road and Madden Lane. The memorial is scheduled for June 9th, 1 p.m., at San Juan County Park on San Juan Island.

The Sheriff’s Department believes that Dana Kempton was the driver in the accident. She was treated at Harborview Medical Center and later released. The crash is still under investigation but Sheriff Bill Cumming believes speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

Britt K. Arnesen, a San Juan signer/songwriter has recorded a song about the fatal crash called “Memorial Day on Cattle Point Road.”  The song will be performed at his memorial.
