A driver traveling the wrong direction SR-524 caused a five car collision. The pickup truck was heading east in the westbound lanes and hit an oncoming car at Little Bear Creek Road.
Two cars behind the hit car, was not able to stop in time and also
crashed his vehicle. Then, the wrong-way driver swerved into the eastbound lanes and hit another car before he crashed again, causing him to stop.
No one involved in the collision suffered from life-threatening injuries.
The driver that caused this roadway mess was taken into custody to be
investigated for DUI and could face vehicular assault charges.
It took hours for the roadway to open up following the crash.
Washington State Drunk Driving Law
