Man seriously injured in Motorcycle Accident

On 8/28/10 a man was riding his motorcycle when a car pulled out in front of him unexpectedly and he had to perform a quick evasive maneuver. Hoping to avoid the car, he tried to put his bike in a nearby ditch but still ended up hitting the vehicle. The man sustained serious injuries including 5 broken ribs, a broken scapular, a collapsed lung, and a blood clot in his right leg. He was hospitalized for over two weeks and was an outpatient at a trauma clinic. Police reported over 66 feet of skidmarks from the motorcycle.
