A 42-year-old man was killed on his motorcycle Saturday when an oncoming car swerved into his lane and crashed head-on into him. The victim, David A. Kahlvik was driving a 2008 Yamaha XVS11A motorcycle when the 25-year-old man hit him driving a 1995 Saturn on a highway near Seattle, Washington.
Kahlvik was
ejected from his motorcycle after he was struck by the Saturn. The Saturn spun 180 degrees and was struck by a 2003 Volvo that was following the motorcycle.
Kahlvik was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. The driver of the Saturn received a broken ankle and taken to a nearby hospital. No one in the Volvo suffered from injury.
Possible charges are pending against the 25-year-old driver.
