A man was injured while working on a tugboat at a Seattle waterfront pier around 10 p.m. Saturday.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center and was listed in good condition on Sunday. None of the other crewmembers were injured.

According to the State Department of Ecology, the tugboat sank after waves flooded the stern of the vessel.

The tugboat, which is owned by Seattle-based cleanup contractor, NRC Environmental Services, dispatched two other boats when the tugboat sank. The Coast Guard also responded to the incident.

Ecology department spokesperson Curt Hart said the tugboat had been carrying about 200 gallons of diesel in its tanks when it sank, but there were not any visible leaks.
