A man was injured in a one-car collision on I-90, east of George, on Saturday afternoon.

Just before 12:30 p.m. 19-year-old Ian E. Anderson driving on Interstate 90 about five miles west of George, when his Nissan Pathfinder left the road, rolled and came to rest on its side in the median. He was taken to Quincy Valley Medical Center for treatment of cuts and bruises.

According to Washington State Patrol the cause of the accident was inattention and Anderson was charged with driving with his wheels off the roadway.

It shall be unlawful to operate or drive any vehicle or combination of vehicles over or along any pavement or gravel or crushed rock surface on a public highway with one wheel or all of the wheels off the roadway thereof, except as permitted by RCW 46.61.428 or for the purpose of stopping off such roadway, or having stopped thereat, for proceeding back onto the pavement, gravel or crushed rock surface thereof.
