Joseph C. Magnuson, 21, was driving westbound on Interstate 90 on Wednesday afternoon when he lost control of his pickup truck and slid sideways into the next lane. A semi-truck driven by Roy K. Walker, 54, hit the left side of his vehicle.
Magnuson was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. He sustained injuries to his neck and back, as well as lacerations on his head. Walker was not injured in the collision.
Washington State Patrol reported that the cause of the collision was speeding too fast for conditions.
