A man, Michael Grzadzielewski was injured in a car accident Monday around 2:51 a.m. near Forks.
He was transported to Forks Hospital then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center with facial lacerations and internal injuries.
According to Washington State Patrol, Grzadzielewski was driving his 1972 Ford Maverick when he went off the shoulder, hit the ditch and landed in the brush 50 feet from his car.
The accident took place going westbound on Highway 101, about 14 miles east of Forks, near Lake Crescent.
State Troopers are still investigating the cause of the accident.
We hope that he is able to make a rapid recovery from his injuries.
