A man was injured on Interstate 82 near Yakima after a boulder fell into the roadway.
Around 12:30 p.m. 65-year-old Ronald C. Schmolka and his passenger 47-year-old Jeannette M. Lyons were driving on I-82, six miles west of Selah, when a large boulder rolled down the hillside into the road.
There are no details surrounding the accident but their car was totaled. Schmolka and Lyons were taken to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center and later released.
