A man in his 40's was seriously injured after being struck by a car at the intersection of Third Avenue S and James Street around 4 pm on Tuesday in downtown Edmonds.
The accident was reported to the Edmonds Police and Snohomish County Fire District 1 and the man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
There are no further details about the accident but officials investigated the scene for several hours.
