A man was struck by an Auburn school bus this morning and was dragged 30 feet. He was immediately rushed to the hospital.
The man is in his 20s and was hit before 8 a.m. at the intersection of 22nd and ‘I’ Street.
He was treated for injuries to his leg and head at Harborview Medical Center.
There were no children on the school bus and there were no other reported injuries.
The actual cause of the collision is under investigation.
There are many ways this accident may have occurred. Was the man
jay walking? Or was he crossing on a crosswalk and the bus driver did not notice him? This morning it was extremely fogging and very difficult to see. Perhaps the driver was unable to see him.
