Man Crashes into Truck Weigh Station

A 50-year-old man driving a 2006 Honda crashed into a building at the weigh station off of I-5 just near Everett.

The car exited the freeway, and instead of going to the rest area he went into the weigh station, trooper Keith Leary of the Washington State Patrol said.

The crash was very close to the trucks. The man was injured but was taken to Providence Everett Medical Center for precaution. The one person crash is under investigation. It is unknown if the drugs or alcohol were a factor in the unusual crash.
