Lacey Woman Killed in Crash Near Rochester

Natalie J. McLaughlin, 22, of Lacey died after her Chevrolet Aveo collided with David W. Comfort’s Mazda MPV van. Comfort, 27, of Chehalis was traveling westbound on State Route 12 near Forstrom Road when his van crossed the center line and hit McLaughlin.
Comfort was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Drugs or alcohol factored into the accident, according to the state patrol. The crash is under investigation and charges are pending.
