Kitsap Transit Bus Kills Woman in Highway 305 Accident | Mass Transit Accident Lawyer

A woman was killed by a mass transit bus on Highway 305 just outside of Poulsbo Wednesday evening.

According to Washington State Patrol spokeswoman Krista Hedstrom, Annette Gobin of Poulsbo had been walking south along the shoulder of Highway 305 at Johnson Way around 7:30 p.m.

Gobin had tried to cross the highway, making it across the first lane but was hit by an oncoming bus carrying a load of passengers from the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal.

Gobin, who was wearing dark pants, light top and white sneakers, died at the scene of the accident.

Neither the driver nor the passengers were injured in the accident; highway 305 was closed until 10 p.m.

Drugs and alcohol were ruled out as factors in this accident.
