Kirkland Crash Kills One l Kirkland Car Accident Attorney

One person died and another was seriously injured during an accident in Kirkland, Washington, when two motorcycles collided with a car on Thursday night. Two men on bikes were headed south on 100th Avenue Northeast when they crashed into a car approaching 117th Northeast Court at 6:35 p.m.

Bystanders tried to perform CPR on the man in his 30s while waiting for medics to arrive. The other motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The injured motorcyclist had been thrown nearly 30 feet from his bike upon impact and was rushed to Harborview Medical Centerwith serious injuries.

The woman who was driving the car was not injured.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and the investigation is ongoing. It is assumed that the two motorcyclist were racing along the road when they collided with the car.

The intersection was closed for quite some time following the accident.
