Approximately a dozen bus riders and a car driver were taken to area hospitals Wednesday after a Metro bus accident on Pacific Highway South. The accident happened near the Kent-Des Moines interchange. According to King County Metro Transit spokeswoman, the Route 174 bus was southbound in the far right-hand lane on Pacific Highway South when a vehicle in the lane to the left cut in front of the bus in an attempt to make a right-hand turn into a parking lot.
