- Using properly fitted seatbelts that go over the bony part of your child's hips and over the collar bone and shoulders.

- Ensuring that If your child is under 12 years that they are riding in the back seat of your car.

- Making sure there is a seat belt in the back seat for your child if you are taking a taxi or a private car on your vacation.
