A kayaking accident left two men stranded and one with hypothermia in the Puget Sound Friday morning.
One of the kayakers was able to walk ashore. The other was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of hypothermia.
The two kayakers were attempting to make a trip from Bainbridge Island to Seattle when they capsized and had to be rescued by a Seattle Fire Department Boat around two a.m.
One of the kayakers had a cell phone with them and was able to call for help. The Coast Guard and Seattle Fire Department started a search for them.
Battalion Chief Alan Cox says they were seen about two miles off shore. They had been in the water for about an hour.
