Infant dies after rear-end collision on Highway 395

DESCRIPTION: A woman and her two children, ages 1 and 3, were traveling on Highway 395 when they stopped to turn into a driveway. They were then struck from behind by another vehicle. The victims were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital and St. Joseph's hospital but the woman's infant daughter died the next morning. Investigators say the cause of the crash was inattention and the driver will be charged with negligent driving.
