A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in an I-5 motorcycle crash Saturday evening.
The motorcyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
The accident took place Saturday around 5:30 p.m. on northbound I-5 near Martin Luther King Way in Seattle. The Honda was thought to have lost control and crossed three lanes of traffic where it was hit by the motorcycle.
Washington State Patrol is looking for witnesses to this accident and are searching for a green 1995 Honda Civic.
National Motorcycle Accident Statistics from 2008 state that 47% of all motorcycles involved in a fatal crash collided with another moving vehicle.
