According to a Washington State Patrol report, a 56-year-old Concrete man was killed when a pickup crashed into his minivan on Friday evening. The accident took place near the
intersection of Highway 20 and Minkler Road. State troopers responded to the scene at about 5:30 p.m. that evening.
Further investigation discovered that a 1982 Chevrolet C-2500 driven by a 28-year old Bellingham man was heading west on Highway 20 when it crossed the centerline and swerved into the eastbound lane, sideswiping a Nissan Pathfinder before colliding with the minivan.
The 56-year-old minivan driver was declared dead at the scene

The driver of the pickup was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The passenger in the minivan was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the Nissan was uninjured.
The Washington State Patrol is continuing investigation into whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
Charges are still pending against the at-fault driver.
