Hunting Accident Kills Port Angeles Man

A Port Angeles man died in a fatal hunting accident. Apparently the man was a part of a five-member hunting party. He was seated on the driver’s side of his truck, which was parked while waiting for the other hunters. One of the men unloaded his .270-caliber rifle nearby sending a bullet fragment through the truck’s back window, striking the victim from behind. He died at the scene.
