Honda Recalls Nearly 1 Million Cars Worldwide, No Injuries Reported

Honda Motor is recalling 962,000 cars worldwide to fix power windows and computer systems.

The Fit subcompact, CR-V Crossover and Fit Aria are subject to the recall in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa for a total of 936,000 units.

There were reports of defects in the driver’s-side power window switch units due to fire and melting dangers.

There are also 26,000 CR-Z compact hybrids being recalled due to programming problems with the engine control unit.

These defects have not caused any injuries.
