A Vancouver man was killed this morning on his bike when an SUV hit him and then fled the scene. The
bicycle accident occurred Portland near 85th Avenue and Southeast Division Street.
The 28-year-old cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene when medical personnel arrived. The
hit and run driver also hit another bicyclist, where he was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
An 18-year-old girl was arrested for suspicion of manslaughter, driving under the influence of intoxicants, failing to perform duties of a driver, vehicle assault and reckless driving.
They are still looking for the other suspect in the fatal bicycle accident.
